Phil, Chris and the boys that have been good enough to embrace me into their riding fraternity in New York have been repping HSUPER! for a while. I love what Johnny is doing with his geometric graphical bottles and most of all his patches which hark back to old climbing and hiking patches and really give you a sense of achievement if you can order one up knowing you’ve done the climb. I’m after the bear mountain one, I want to do it on the track bike but as Johnny describes…

Here in NYC, our closest option for any decent climb is Bear Mountain. On a clear day, you’ll be able to see the cityscape of downtown Manhattan. Featured in the Gran Fondo NY, it raises 1284ft over the Hudson River. Don’t be fooled by the first half, it’s a category 2 climb for a reason. Challenge yourself and others to this climb and remember those painful minutes by rewarding yourself with this patch!
