“The objective? To make Christmas shopping for anyone with design-conscious cycling friends a little easier. In line with these Christmas times of gathering with people that are special to you, CycleLove have chosen to collaborate with people they met and liked along the way. Interviews with Nick from Vulpine, Otto from Otto London and Paul from Calver Photo have turned brands into friends: “It feels great to have collected our discoveries from CycleLove together for the first time. We don’t do advertising on our blog, so this is our way to put the cycling brands we admire into the spotlight. And a sneaky way of placing our own designs amongst those of our idols.” In addition to the brands, CycleLux offers a new collection of CycleLove products. For these T-shirts, totes and posters they commissioned Belgian illustrator Penelope and Irish designer Duane Dalton. CycleLux also features a new CycleLove t-shirt that is all smiles (pictured above), and a print inspired by James’ first cycling trip to the Alps this summer. The result is a fresh and varied line of bicycle related apparel. CycleLux is the first big experiment from Mandos+Greig , a new collaborative practice from Fiona Mandos and James Greig, who are merging their backgrounds in communication and graphic design to make stuff happen as a duo”.
