Now that we’re moving into spring (supposedly) it gets tricky to judge whether the jackets necessary or whether its a roubaix day or just arm warmers. Endura are one of those companies that literally have you covered for every possible scenario. Here are a couple of my favourite pieces from their 2012 winter/spring range…

The Photon Jacket is a fully seam sealed waterproof jackets yet is packable and comes with a mini stuff sack. finding that balance between technically effective at keeping the weather out but being low weight enough to be on hand those days you might usually gamble not taking a jacket (those tend to be the days it rains) With the relaxed fit and range of colours from muted black to hi-viz its one for the Jersey pocket…

The FS260 Pro Jetstream, thats not a U.S fighter plane but a mid level windproof and insulating race styled jersey. This is a real athletic fit and with the submlimation graphics looks like it means business but it still has the triple rear pocket plus zipped security pocket stows. Personally I ride the MTB version of this Jersey as I favour the slightly looser fit and tamer style so thats always an option if your like me!

These are my favourites. In my mind overshoes are a necessary evil, they rarely if ever look good on but the function always far outweighs the form as far as dry and warm feet go. For me then why not break the mold and add a flourish where you never normally would. These aren’t all show though and have the balls to back up that glamour thanks to their smooth waterproof Neoprene® construction and welded centre seam. The Neoprene® meets and butts behind the rear zip to improve water tightness; a Velcro® heel tab ensures snug fit. The reflective logo and zip panels at the rear aid visibility. Last but not least, the hard wearing Kevlar® faced bace and Kevlar® stitching guarantee a longlasting life span of these tight fitting Road Overshoes.
