About a month ago, Howies and adventurer Alastair Humphreys set a challenge to go out on your own Micro-adventure.
“What the hell is a Micro Adventure?” I hear you crying. Essentially, it’s a 24 hour adventure close to home that is cheap, easy to organise and most of all, fun. Normally it involves riding somewhere beautiful and remote, sleeping in a bivvi bag, getting breakfast and riding home. Easy.
Somehow I managed to persuade my girlfriend to take part…
