“Priti Baiks is a series of portraits of men who display tons of creative ingenuity and dedicate a good amount of their meager resources to decorate and equip their humble bikes , an integral part of their own identity.”

The term Priti Baiks translated literally means Pretty Bikes, but in Panama the term Priti is used to describe something that has an ingenious and striking grace. These bikes are certainly Priti. The series of photographs are taken by José Castrellón in towns and cities around Panama.

These guys are so creative. I love the top left bike, he’s got everything; neon lights, air horns, mirrors, water bottles, streamers…  check out all the bikes here.
