THE WORLD HUMAN POWERED SPEED CHALLENGE AT BATTLE MOUNTAIN

This may be the greatest title to any event that has ever taken place on earth in the history of man. Come on, it takes place on Battle Mountain!

In this event, humans will gather speed along the straightest, flattest, and smoothest road surface in the world before being timed over a 200m distance.

The current record holder is Sam Worthington of Naked Cycles, with a blistering speed of (approximately) 82.819mph.
